Ruth started her career in dentistry aged nineteen as a dental nurse which she did for several years before achieving the certificate in dental nursing and dental sedation nursing. She graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2005 with a diploma in dental hygiene and started working as a dental hygienist in general dental practice.

“I enjoy my role as a dental hygienist and get great satisfaction in helping patients improve and maintain their oral health.
I have a great love for animals, particularly dogs and have had the great pleasure of having many join our family over the years. I especially love large breeds and have had the experience of breeding to produce wonderful litters. There’s nothing like the feeling of unconditional love a dog can give you.”
