“I joined Comber Dental Practice in 2012 having previously trained and worked at another practice. It’s fabulous working in my home town and seeing plenty of familiar and friendly faces.

I get greatest job satisfaction when we’re able to change the perception of a person who’s dentally phobic. We work our magic (often with a little help from some nitrous oxide) and anxious patients are looking forward to their next visit.”
  • What’s your earliest memory of Comber?

Aunty Rosemary’s playschool and also sitting on the big green bins feeding the ducks with my Aunty Margaret at the Ballygowan Road duck pond.

  • What’s the best advice you’ve been given?

A fine group of gentlemen once encouraged people to “..fight for your right to paaarty” and I have always thought these were such wise words and so I try to live by them every day .

  • What’s on your bucket list?

A road trip down the west coast of America, to get married in Vegas, to live in Canada and to have a go on a cherry picker.

  • What’s your favourite aspect of Comber?

The fact that I was born and bred in Comber means I get to call this wee town home… but mostly the ‘Chicken Shop’ – Heron’s Country Fried Chicken.

  • Which temptations can’t you resist?

Good natural skincare products – luckily I’m an ambassador for a well-known skincare range, so I don’t need to resist.

  • Where is your favorite place in and around Comber?

The North Down House for a refreshing, well-earned pint on a Friday evening. I get together there with friends for the pub quiz league too.
